OPERATION AGAINST TERRORISTS IN NORTH WAZIRISTAN, 2 SOLDIERS MARTYRED & 9 TERRORISTS KILLED
Two Pakistani soldiers were martyred and nine terrorists were killed during an operation by security forces against terrorists in the North Waziristan tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), "Security forces acted on a verified intelligence report of the presence of terrorists in Khasura and Dosali areas of North Waziristan."
According to ISPR, "during the operation in the area, there was an exchange of fire between the terrorists and the security forces, as a result of which nine terrorists were killed and one terrorist was arrested."
